How do I join on Minecraft Java?

Answer

Open Minecraft Java on 1.21.4 - latest.
From the main menu, open Multiplayer.
Choose Add Server.
Paste play.solariasmp.com as the address. Name the entry whatever you like.
Save, pick us from your list, then Join Server.

No mods required. You’ll get a resource pack prompt from the server; accept it when asked.

Question 2

How do I join on Minecraft Bedrock?

Answer

These steps are for Bedrock on Windows PC. If you are on phone, tablet, or console, the next question has the right method.

Open Minecraft (Bedrock) on Windows (1.21.4 - latest).
Open Play, then Servers (sometimes it’s under Friends instead).
Pick Add Server or Add external server.
Use bedrock.solariasmp.com as the address. Default port is fine unless your client complains.
Save, select the server, join.

Same version as everyone else: 1.21.4 - latest. Same world and resource pack as Java.

Question 3

How do I join on phone, tablet, Xbox, PlayStation, or Switch?

Answer

On these devices, you will join through Friends instead of the server list. (Windows PC Bedrock uses the hostname in the previous answer.)

Open Friends and add SolariaSMP5859 (please use the exact spelling).
The account auto-accepts friend requests.
When it shows as joinable, connect from your friends list. Same world as Java and PC Bedrock.

Version is still 1.21.4 - latest. If anything is unclear, ask us in Discord and we will help.

What Minecraft version do I need?

Use 1.21.4 - latest on Java or Bedrock.

Question 5

Do I need mods or a resource pack?

Answer

Vanilla is fine, no mods required. There's a custom resource pack the server sends when you connect; say yes when the game asks. Mods like Sodium might work, we don't test every combo.

Question 6

What are the server rules?

Answer

Please avoid griefing, stealing, cheating, or harassment. Staff make final decisions when needed. The full rules are in Discord, and we appreciate you reading them when you join.

Question 7

How do PlayerWarps and shops work?

Answer

PlayerWarps mark a spot others can warp to, handy for shops or bases. You set them in survival with the plugin commands (often /pwarp-style). Exact commands can change with updates; check in-game help or Discord.

Is the server always online?

Answer

We aim to stay online 24/7. Short downtime can happen during updates or fixes. If you cannot connect, check Discord for status updates.

Can I invite my friends?

Absolutely. Send them to Join: play.solariasmp.com (Java), bedrock.solariasmp.com (Bedrock on Windows PC), or friend SolariaSMP5859 for phone, tablet, or console. Everyone uses the same version range.
